Acupuncture Lamp, 2007
The acupuncture foot lamp uses LED light at specific points on a reflexology model. I've enjoyed using body part
imagery in interior furnishings for awhile as symbols of my fascination with body modification and identity
commodification. This type of imagery is also representative of the human connection and disconnection with
objects that compose personal space. It is the interaction of an individual and their everyday items that form an
identity trail, and this is an attempt to fuse them.
